Kemal advises international corporations, private equities and local companies on a variety of merger and acquisition transactions in regulated sectors such as energy, banking and finance, media and publicly held companies, including assisting clients in wholesale acquisition of targets, business transfers and formation and governance of joint ventures. His vast experience in this area also covers assisting his clients on all phases of the transactions including obtainment of regulatory approvals, competition law clearance and establishment of the corporate governance structuring for the transaction. Kemal also advises clients with respect to privatizations, public tenders and entry into public private partnership projects and assists on regulatory compliance and housekeeping matters.
Kemal also has extensive experience on finance matters including advising clients on acquisition financing and project financing as well as assisting clients on structuring security packages and optimization of the financing structures. Kemal is also active on commercial litigations for institutional clients and in zoning law and expropriation related litigation and administrative procedures for his clients and advising on complicated real property transactions for international and institutional clients.

Okan advises clients on a wide range of corporate transactions. He has extensive experience on various forms of merger & acquisition transactions, including formation of joint ventures, asset transfers, privatizations and various types of public private partnerships. Okan advises a number of multinational corporations, private equities and local entities at all phases of merger & acquisition transactions.
Having made 10s of filings before the Turkish Competition Board, Okan is among the leading attorneys of the jurisdiction in the Competition Law area, assisting his clients on merger control filings as well as investigations, preemptive measures and training programs.
In addition, Okan advises his clients in matters concerning real property development, sale and mortgages. He has assisted structuring and implementation of various high ticket and complex real property transactions involving construction right, mortgages, right of first refusal and promise to sell arrangements.
Okan also advises various associations and foundations, some of which are the owners of sport or esports teams, on their incorporation and day-to-day operational matters.
